In two weeks, we will celebrate Welcome Home Sunday throughout the Archdiocese of New Orleans. This week consider reaching out to the person that the Sacred Heart of Jesus has put on your heart. A simple invitation can make a huge difference! Simply let someone know there is a place for them here and that you would love for them to join you at Mass on August 15 or 16. Who will you invite?
The Adult Faith Formation Ministry invites you to a six-part presentation on the teachings of St. Thomas Aquinas to guide us in saintly virtue on August 3, 5, 10, 13, 17, 19, and 24. All sessions will be from 6:30-8:00 PM in the Discipleship Center. Click here for more information.
After every Mass the weekend of August 1-2, The Bethlehem Nativity Group will be selling olive wood religious items hand-crafted by Christian families in the Holy Land. Our SMM Used Book Sale last weekend was a great success! Thanks to all who came by to browse through the school library, buy a few books, and recall happy memories of St. Mary Magdalen School.
