KC Ladies Auxiliary
Members support the Parish in efforts for Charity, Unity, Fraternity & Patriotism. They actively work within the parish to enrich Fellowship and Community and Spirituality. Contact Lynette Driscoll for more information at [email protected]

2025 Events
St Mary Magdalen celebrated "Family Day" after the 10:30 mass on Sunday September 28. The KC Ladies Auxiliary served coffee and donuts. Additional parishioners helped also. Always a great time with fellowship and fun and food.

Following the 10:30 AM Mass on Sunday, August 24th, the KC Ladies Auxiliary hosted Sundae Sunday in Massett Hall Cafeteria! Many parishioners came and made their own special ice-cream sundaes to enjoy.

KC Auxiliary Ladies supplied beverages and served drinks including punch bowl at 2025 SMM Feast Day Celebration.
KC Auxiliary Ladies hosted on Sunday May 4, coffee & donuts, in Massett Hall Cafeteria following all the morning Masses.

This Sunday April 6, the Easter Bunny made an appearance at St Mary Magdalen. Lots of families took the opportunity to get pictures with him. Sponsored by KC Ladies’ Auxiliary; the event was fun, brought out parishioners not only for the pictures but to enjoy each others' company in fellowship. Special appearances by Fr Chris and Deacon Chuck. The KC Ladies' Auxiliary were represented by Lynette Driscoll, Carolyn Lawson, BJ Paretti, and Loretta Keane. Helped by Stacy Pecoraro, Bernie Regel, Keith Lawson, and Kenny Grunberg. Big Shout to the KC Ladies for their long and wonderful service to STMM.Unfortunately the Easter Egg Hunt was cancelled. Julie Fabregas put together candy bags for the kids from the candy for the Easter Egg Hunt to give to the kids who showed up. KC Ladies Auxiliary also had various give aways which included crafts, toys, and religious articles.Link to More Easter Bunny
The Feast of the Epiphany celebrates the joyful culmination of the Magi's search for the newborn King whose birth was heralded by a star. To celebrate this feast, the SMM Men's Club and the KC Ladies' Auxiliary sponsored a King Cake breakfast of coffee and king cake in Massett Hall Cafeteria following the morning Masses on Sunday, January 5th. Starting the New Year with fellowship, tasty King Cake, and some warm coffee. Also had milk and OJ. Great to see so many parishioners staying after Mass with a breakfast fit for a king.

2024 Events
Ladies Auxiliary hosted pictures with Santa Sunday Dec.1 . They also had coffee, oj, milk, and donuts with fellowship for all parishioners whether they posed with Santa or not. There were gift ornaments kits for the kids. There were no cookies as rumors suggested the big guy from the North Pole ate them all (just kidding).The same Sunday, Fr. Chris and Deacon Jim blessed our parish nativity. This annual event takes place on the first Sunday of Advent. The KC Ladies Auxiliary handed out Advent prayer cards and nativity bands. Thanks to Kenny Flynn, Richard Lyons,August Neyrey, Joe Dicharry, Bernard Woods, Andrew Morel and Keith Lawson for setting up our nativity. Pictures with Easter Bunny on Sunday, March 10, the KC Ladies Auxiliary hosted pictures with the Easter Bunny. Great time, as lots of families took the opportunity of a visit from the Easter Bunny to get to see him and get photos with him. On Sunday April 21 KC Ladies Auxiliary hosted thier latest Sit and Paint in Masset Hall. Beautiful paintings of tulips made with fun and fellowship. Today's Sit and Paint was hosted by our church's KC Ladies Auxiliary. They are a wonderful group of ladies who do so much for this church. Ice cream socials, sit and paints, Santa and Easter Bunny pictures, help with fish fry, diaper drives, and so much more. Link to sit and paint April picture

The KC Ladies' Auxiliary collected diapers & baby wipes for Catholic Charities' Access Pregnancy Center of Metairie for several weekends , the last weekend was May 18-19. They delivered 4 carloads of diapers, wipes, or gift cards.
St Therese helped with decorating the donation boxes. They also wrote encouraging words to the parents picking up the diapers. Thank you Mr. Philip Garside and your students. Link to diaper collection pictures
Sunday, August 25th, the KC Ladies Auxiliary hosted Sundae Sunday in Massett Hall Cafeteria. People came and created their own special ice-cream sundae.
