HIGH SCHOOL CONFIRMATION PROGRAM

This Confirmation Program is for High School students beginning their Junior year, who are attending Catholic, private, or public schools. The immediate preparation for the sacrament of Confirmation assumes that the candidate has been learning about the Catholic faith at home, in Catholic religious education classes, and through parish celebrations of the liturgy. In preparing for Confirmation, candidates will review the Deposit of Faith given to us by Jesus and reflect on what the Catholic faith means to them on both a personal and a communal level.  Beginning every August, Confirmation preparation classes are held monthly on Sunday nights at 7:15 p.m. (following the 6:00 p.m. Mass.) Registration: 
Registration for Confirmation classes will take place after ALL masses on August 16^th – 17^th and 23^rd - 24^th.  Please use link below to print and then fill out registration form. Cost and Service Hours Requirements : 
All high school juniors are encouraged to attend Confirmation classes at SMM.   The cost of the program will be $35.00 per candidate. Each student must complete 5 Service Hours before the Confirmation Retreat on January 24, 2026.

Schedule :
The Parent Meeting is scheduled for Sunday, August 24^th at 7:15 pm in the Discipleship Center following 6:00 pm mass. Classes will meet monthly on Sunday nights after the 6:00 pm mass from 7:15 pm – 8:30 pm in the Discipleship Center.  Please note: ALL STUDENTS ARE REQUIRED TO ATTEND THE 6:00 PM MASSS ON SCHEDULED MEETING NIGHTS AS PART OF THEIR CONFIRMATION PREPERATION.
