About three hundred years after the Resurrection, some Christians were still questioning whether Jesus really was Divine. This caused division in the Church, and so 1700 years ago, in the year 325, the Roman Emperor Constantine called all the Bishops to meet together in the town of Nicaea to formulate a Profession of Faith to bring peace and unity to the Catholic Church. What emerged from this first Ecumenical Council is the Nicene Creed, which we still recite at Mass and is the standard for Christian orthodoxy even today. To learn more about this profound summary of our faith, join us for a series on The Creed by Bishop Robert Barron. 6 Sessions Mondays- September 22, 29, October 6, 13, 20, and 27 9:30 am-11am Or Tuesdays- September 23, 30, October 7, 14, 21, and 28 6:30pm-8pm Come early to fellowship!
