Our newest parish organization, “Faithful Friends” is off to a terrific start!  The first meeting was great and attended by nearly 90 parishioners eager to socialize and to work together to keep our fantastic SMM parish family going strong.  We would like to thank all who came to the meeting and especially those who provided dishes.  
We are planning to meet every 1^st Monday of the month at 6:00 pm in Massett Hall (Cafeteria), except for September, it will be on Tuesday, September 2^nd due to Labor Day.  All adults invited.  Bring a Pot-Luck dish to share for dinner and your own beverage of choice.  Please call Nancy (504-421-4832) to let her know what you plan to bring to insure we have an assortment of food items.  Water, ice, and paper products will be provided.  We are also planning to hold many fun-filled events for adults and our families.  
If you were not able to attend our first meeting in August, you are cordially invited to attend the next meeting on Tuesday, September 2, 2025, and/or future meetings to socialize and enjoy some good food with friends.  For more information check out the “Faithful Friends” page on the SMM website under Parish Life and the bulletin.
