On July 19, we will celebrate the feast day of St. Mary Magdalen (transferred from July 22). All Masses the weekend of July 18-19 will include the the readings for the Feast of St. Mary Magdalen and a special final blessing. Our annual feast day reception will be held at a later date. As part of the Missionary Cooperation Plan, Fr. Michael Akpoghiran, OP from the Dominican Province of Nigeria will celebrate the weekend Masses on June 27 - 28. Father will speak about the work of the Dominican Priests and Brothers who serve God’s people in Africa where Catholicism is growing more rapidly than in any other part of the world. Peter's Pence is the annual worldwide collection to support the charitable works of the Holy Father. Obtain a simple 8X10" frame for the image and designate a place of honor for it in your home. Archbishop Checchio will also entrust our archdiocese to the Sacred Heart of Jesus.
